Precautions during the Organic Fertilizer Fermentation Process
Release time:2026-06-05 Views:4 Sources:Tai an Hongxin Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd

1. Requirements for Fermentation Raw Materials:

The fermentation raw materials (such as agricultural waste like manure) are relatively fresh and have not undergone natural composting.

  2. Auxiliary Material Requirements:

The moisture content of fermentation adjuncts (such as straw, rice hulls, etc.) should be moderate, with strong water absorption, appropriate particle size or length, and not overly large. The addition amount should be determined based on the moisture content of the fermentation raw materials.

  3. The bacterial strain must be evenly distributed

For fermenting one ton of raw material, 50 grams (equivalent to 1 liang) of organic fertilizer fermentation bacteria strain are required. Since it is difficult to distribute the bacteria evenly on the fermentation material, it is recommended to first mix the 50 grams of bacteria strain with 500 grams (1 jin) of any one type of raw material such as wheat bran, wood shavings, oilcake, or rice bran, stir thoroughly, and then spread it onto the fermentation material. Afterward, mix evenly and pile for fermentation.

  4. Adjust the fermentation moisture properly:

The moisture adjustment of raw and auxiliary materials is crucial, as it determines the success or failure of fermentation. The moisture requirement is that the mixture should be held in a fist and fall to the ground, splitting into two parts. The general proportion of auxiliary materials (such as straw, rice husks, etc.) is 10% to 30% (by weight of the raw materials). If calculated by volume, the ratio is typically 2 parts raw materials to 1 part auxiliary materials.

  5. The length, width, and height of the fermentation stack must meet the standards:

The fermented material must have a width of no less than 1.5 meters, a height of no less than 1 meter, and an unlimited length.
