Principle and Construction Effect of Trough-type Tipping Turner

With the improvement of living standards, the concept of environmental protection has gradually taken root in peoples minds. Starting from the perspective of environmental conservation and management, a trough-type organic fertilizer turner was designed and produced to address the issue of manure pollution emissions in the livestock industry, playing a significant role in mitigating the environmental impact of animal farming.




The trough-type windrow turner is widely used in the fermentation and composting processes as well as moisture removal operations in organic fertilizer plants, compound fertilizer plants, sewage and garbage treatment plants, nurseries, and shiitake mushroom cultivation facilities.



The trough-type turning machine, also known as the track-type turning machine, small turning machine, or pig manure turning machine, includes a mobile fermentation trough, walking track, power supply device, turning and mixing section, and transfer trough device (also called a transfer cart or shifting cart, primarily used in multi-trough setups).



The working part of the trough-type turning machine adopts roller transmission, available in both elevatable and non-elevatable types. The elevatable type is primarily used in scenarios where the trough width does not exceed 5 meters and the turning depth does not exceed 1.3 meters. The bearing housing of the trough-type turning machine is fixed to the frame, with two main shafts securely mounted within the bearing housing.



Slot fermentation typically involves constructing partition walls on a cemented ground surface, with guide rails installed at the top of these walls. The turning machine moves along the rails and is equipped with a rail-changing mechanism, allowing it to shift between adjacent slots. The depth of the slots ranges from 0.7m to 2.5m, with some incorporating ventilation pipes laid over grass to enhance airflow. The slot fermentation turning machine offers advantages such as high processing capacity, compact footprint, simple operation, and the potential for autonomous driving, making it particularly suitable for enterprises requiring sealed processing and environmental control.



The trough-type windrow turner, also known as the large-span disc turner, can not only evenly mix livestock manure and microbial inoculants but also crush clumps in the fermented material to enhance aeration.



The trough-type windrow turner intelligently automates the aeration process of fermentation materials. Under the action of longitudinal and transverse walking mechanisms, the vertical lifting mechanism excavates and lifts the fermentation materials from the pool bottom to the horizontal conveying mechanism. The materials are then turned and dumped 8-10 meters before falling back into the pool, creating a controlled displacement within the pool. This enables the materials to continuously advance in a regular, equal-distance, and progressive manner, forming a continuous aerobic fermentation process.



The innovation of the trough-type compost turner lies in its full utilization of underground space through deep pool design and long-distance turning technology, enabling large-scale harmless treatment of organic waste within limited ground area. The application of this machine can reduce waste volume, achieve decontamination and resource utilization, minimize fecal pollution in livestock farms, and contribute to environmental protection, energy conservation, and emission reduction.
