Advantages of trough-type turning machines, tank fermentation, and windrow fermentation methods
The fermentation methods for livestock and poultry manure-based fertilization include: trough-type, tank-type, windrow-type, pit-type, and so on
Performance Characteristics of Various Fermentation Methods:
Currently, the fermentation methods include: pool-type, tank-type, pile-type, and tank-heating-type.
1. Pond fermentation: Advantages—stable sealing performance, effective fermentation, and a typical cycle of 7-10 days.
Disadvantages: High civil engineering investment costs, lack of mobility, inconvenient and incomplete material discharge
2. Trough fermentation: Advantages—high controllability, effective fermentation, low investment cost, and a typical cycle of 7-10 days
Disadvantages: Requires ample space, and the civil construction cost is relatively high.
3. Heap fermentation: Advantages: A primitive fermentation method with moderate fermentation effects, typically taking 10-15 days.
Disadvantage: Occupies a large area.
4. Tank heating fermentation: Advantages: Stable sealing performance, strong mobility, excellent fermentation effect, and a typical cycle of 3-5 days.
Drawback: High equipment investment cost.
